These Special Courses may be taken for Special Certification purpose while these also serve as main subjects offered for the First Semester of 2022 under the curriculum of Diploma of Studies in Divinity.

CLM 100

Church Leadership and Management (3 Units)

The Christian Church exists for a purpose and its mission is to carry the Gospel Message of Salvation into the whole world.  As a church, its programs of  inreach and outreach need effective management and leadership.  In this course, the principles and functions of management will be discussed, and its leadership function will be covered in line with the Christian principles.

CHM 100

Christian Church History & Missions (3 Units)

In this course, students will be oriented with the paradigm shifts in the theology of mission as understood and practiced in the Christian religion in general.  This eye-opening studies, will expose the students to the missiological theories and practices lessons from which will lead them to propose effective missiological approaches in the context of the Three Angels Message of Revelation 14:6-12.

SEM 100

Pauline Missiology Principles & Approaches (1 Unit)

This course will explore the principles and approaches in Pauline Missiology and how it can be adapted in the age of information. Pauline theology and eschatology will also be discussed.  Students will be called to appley the self-supporting philosophy of Paul’s ministry.

BSH 100

Introduction to Biblical Hermeneutics (3 Units)

Understanding the principle of interpreting the Bible is a must to discover the truth within the ground and unearth its precious gems.  It surveys the different principles of interpretation and allows the student to discover and decide which is the best and sound method of interpreting the Word of God.
